This design is abundant in subtle gradients, giving rich and luminous colors. They were chosen to please the sir as much as the lady. A refined style worthy of a coronation.

This overloaded site now has a calming structure. I modified the proposed template into something original to the point of being a challenge to assemble; then gave it a tint of blue to avoid the brownish color that grey has on a screen. The red dots identify the links and publicities that the mouse flies over. Almost all the pubs have been recreated to make them clearer and to hasten the page’s loading time; endowing them with a css intensely lightened the html. I’ve invented and programmed an image displayer to shorten the page, learned the iFrames and how to give them a different length in Firefox than IE. The quantity of images to edit made me sharpen my patience.

This graceful site has a simplified search menu. Thanks to javascript and my ingenuity, the menus save the user’s time. He waits for the page to reload only when he’s done all his selections. The lists have been created from zero instead to use a "jumpmenu" to have a better control. So, when a choice is specified instead of all, the text becomes more visibly blue. For the menu of the items, a mini description appears when passing over an image; and an arrow allows passing with ease to the next item or set. Only the javascript is demonstrated.

My greatest masterpiece; created entirely in flash and at a breakneck pace. I’ve innovated with simplicity but with an extreme care to detail, making the site so sumptuous. The original preloader is the logo that is being filled. The colors of the bridge has been harmonised to be melt in the infinity, with discreet lights passing discretely. The links change on mouse over, pulsing with light, then become highlighted and deactivated when selected. But my greatest pride is the programming of the scroll bar that I’ve reinvented. It’s made of arrows that automatically scroll the text, but has also interactive lines that shows the number of pages and which one is selected. This site is the proof of the potential of my talent and of my ever expanding capacities.

They entrusted me the design part of this search engine for business numbers. I’ve created the logo, found a color theme that unites those of the Canada and the USA, and I’ve balanced the indigo, the blue and the red. I’ve made sumptuous reflects of manual gradients for the map; and I’ve assembled all its pieces taking care to avoid white spaces in between, or that the border doesn’t shift them. To have a drawing that is prolonged from the frame to the background of the text zone requires a technique that can be capricious; but that I’m growing fond of more and more.

The student association of the Center for the Study of East Asia at the University of Montreal entrusted me his website.
I drew their old logo in vectors to clean it. My design uses their idea to unite the Quebec's blue and the red of Asia. In the banner, Japan, China and Vietnam each have an image to represent the grace of their culture. The vibrant colors and great contrasts invoke the energy of the students.
The bamboo image continues in the background, breaking the rigidity of the frame. The status of the page changes on rollover of the main links (in IE).

The style is meant to be simple and as refined as their products. I did my research so well that I used a picture of one of their locket without knowing. The tints gold and pearl remind of their jewellery; and the light gradients give a luminous effect. The organisation facilitates the functionality: to avoid overload and confusion, only the editable form fields have a visible contour. The text fields once too large and unreadably too small is in a scrolling DIV.

I’ve created the logo and improved the template of their choice by creating the color theme and the style. The picture has been replaced by one that I’ve modified to make everything harmonious.

My experimental style breaks the traditional rigid frame with fluid curves of galaxies, combining their themes of water and Star Trek, but avoiding carefully an overload of colors and elements. When I put videos, I don’t make them start automatically to let the user decides when he’s ready. My purified menu regroups the links to avoid having two different leading to the same page, maximizing the efficiency. Long live the ergonomy!

This site is transformable and updatable almost by itself. Not having a PHP host, I used Javascript to build a database. After this, everything seems simple to me.
The same menu is used on every pages but it deactivates the button of the current page, changes its color and displays the proper title. The style of the site is random and kept until the use chooses another. If random is selected, the style changes on every page.
The goal of the site is to practice ideas and textures. The 2nd style, Dactilo, is made with real paper and Chinese ink.
Select the style "Dactilo".

I draw in my spare time and this site has some of my stories. The capture shows a drawing which was animated with flash. To make turning stairs with a jpg file, instead to draw vectors with flash, didn’t allow me to use the perspective options. To create the illusion of it required me a lot of patience and ingenuity.
The site is in English because it's the language that I prefer with computers; and with most of my hobbies.

My mandate was to design a bilingual Flash site that could be modified not only without the software, but also without the use of databases. My idea was to use text files.
In the portfolio, for each names in the list of projects, the images & texts are imported and the button is activated in the menu. If the is a video, a button appears; it will open an html popup with a button for each video.
There is slots of four different depths to bring out the pieces for the four main sections of the site. I wanted those 3D creators to have a site that resembled them.

For my last end of session project, my classmate and I took the challenge to do an imposing site to practice everything that could be. The site's theme is either green or red and its shopping cart is functional. When someone become a member, he can publish ads on bulletin boards or chat on the forum that I fully programmed. I also took care of the validations javascript according to the rights of the admins and members. The design, the structure, the creation of vector images with flash and other visual aspects was my responsibility.

My first project entirely made with Flash was about various kinds of ivy.
This little project was to practice the basic functions, but also to go further with a preloader and a game.
I invite you to admire the introduction of a growing ivy and to fight an invasion of spiders.

The goal of my first end of session project was to simulate an e-commerce site. The introduction serving as the site's map is made in flash, the page 'audio vidéo', the menu of the site and many other details as well.
The section Tarot gives random cards. I scanned them myself which proves my great patience.
With my current competences I could improve the site, but back then it was an audacious project that greatly improved my skills.

This exercise was to practice the frames and the actions on mouse over; which isn't as ergonomic as I would do today but still interesting: Each ball of the costume shows the menu of a different sections of the site.
The best improvement I made was with the bilingual language. Instead to have a surcharge of text, writing both, I used layers to hide one of them.
The meta tags were so efficient that the owners of the shop requested the removal of the site to avoid confusing their clients.
